Here at Redspot we maintain all insurances required under federal and state legislation to protect our customers, staff and suppliers. Be assured that when you rent a car from us, it's registered and meets all roadworthy standards required under legislation.

Your obligations to us
If you rent a Redspot car you have certain obligations under the terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement. These include liability for loss or damage to the car or a third party property. Note that in some circumstances liabilities may be reduced by the payment of a Loss or Damage Liability Reduction Fee .

The applicable liabilities are covered in Part A of the Rental Agreement.
The conditions of liability payments are covered in our Vehicle Damage Policy.

Breaches
If you damage a Redspot rental car and are in breach of contract under our Rental Agreement, you will be:

fully liable for all loss associated with repair of the vehicle
liable for any third party damage.

Personal injury
Each state requires all cars to hold a current Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance Policy. This covers personal injury to driver (when not at fault), passengers of the insured car and third parties. If this happens to you, we will advise you of the CTP insurer for that particular car.

Car contents
We don't provide any insurance or take any liability for loss or damage to property carried or left in rented vehicles by people who rent our cars and their co-travellers.

Public liability
We are (of course) covered for public liability. All enquiries should be directed to our Claims people:
